Edward Perry was in these bibliography texts; Rev. Calbraith Bourne Perry, "The Perrys of R.I. & tales of Silver Creek; The Bosworth - Bourne - Perry Homestead" (NY, 1913). He was born in 1630. He married Mary Freeman, daughter of Edmond Freeman Sr. and Bennett Hodsoll, circa 1653; Sandwich, Torrey has ? Fairmont. The couple refused the services of the Govenor, or senior citizens [of Sandwich] authorized to conduct local marriages. Perry was fined, but still refused to allow the service. Edward Perry died in 1695.
